MAILING TO THE RIGHT PERSON?   DrStopSpam uses the most advanced technology  to track down spammers, sources of spam, spamsource ISPs and those who advertise with spam mailers.  This said, you must understand that any machine attempting to parse text and mail will make errors.  DrStopSpam also relies on WhoIs databases on the Internet for accurate information.  Two major companies have released software (combined with filters) which they "claim"  will track down and report spammers.  Please note that there is NO similarity between these products that take a very poor guess and are usually wrong about who to send complaints to.  Our software uses dozens of computers on the internet to check and cross check who we contact.  Our accuracy rates are much much better than anything else that I have seen that installs on your computer.  Nevertheless,  there will still be errors.  For this reason, Dr. Joseph A. The text below offers you options if you wish to take a very conservative approach.

YOUR ABILITY TO SELECTIVELY MAIL.   By selecting the advanced user option, you will turn on the ability to select which addresses you choose to mail complaints to.  DrstopSpam has a Drag & Drop interface that will allow you to select individual mailing addresses from the three lists that are presented to you.  You can choose which you mail to also by reading the spam and its headers from the "Show /Review Spam"  button on most menus.  In most cases this will not be necessary!  In "advanced user" mode,  DrStopSpam will display its "thinking."  You will be able to see in detail how it analyzed the data in the mail and how it came to its conclusions.  This plus a little reading of how to analyze headers can allow you to be near 100% accurate.

REVIEWING THE SEARCH AND ANALYSIS (conservative approach).   With the advanced user option selected you may review and track DrStopSpam's analysis. To do this, from the main start up screen select  "Notify Authorites."   You will now see the  "Spam Analysis And Processing" menu.   On the bottom left select the radio button "Save Analysis"  on/off and turn it ON.   From now on, DrStopSpam will track every analysis it performs,  what tests it used, and show you the results it found.  It will also do this without this option on but it will not Save it for later review.  If you wish,  you may simply run the analysis and view the results.  You do NOT have to send mail now or ever. If you wish, now press the "Show Analysis"  button and you can review the whole process before selecting and sending any complaint mail!  If you wish,  you may download many FREE tools from our web site that will allow you to check and perform many of the analysis processes that DrStopspam used.  In other words,  you have total control!  We do not believe in taking "guesses."  This program really works hard for your trust. Our goal is to do our job for you in the most ethical manner posssible.  Compare us to the "other"  programs that claim  analyze and report complaints on your desktop..... there is NO comparison!
