The Latest Information On Recently Reported Problems.

 

1) INSTALLING Automatic UPDATES  If you are using windows 2000 or Xp,  you may get an error message saying that the installer cannot install the updates.

The current work around for this occasional problem is as follows:  a) Exit and restart wndows. b) Right click on the DrStopSpam Icon.  b)  Now select "properties."  c) Click the bottom button titled 'Find Target" d) You will now see the DrStopSpam directory with a bunch of files.  d) Find and double click the 'Installer' Icon. which looks like this ->  e) When the installer starts, select install updates and this should resolve the problem! Now exit and close all the windows and you are done.

Errors Sending Mail To Spammer or Authorities

If you get errors when sending lots of mail and you are using Norton Anti-Virus, TURN OFF,  outgoing mail scanning.  Norton and some ISP's may flag you as mailing spam when you send a lot of mail at once. ... we are working to get a fix  for  Norton. One for ISP's is in process.

If you have some of the spams that lead you to reporing "IANA" as the source, this is now fixed.  Every few months spammers try toy use new technqiues to evade detection.  We update our program to keep them out of business!
